John Moseley

Chief Commercial Officer, Port Houston

John Moseley was named Chief Commercial Officer in 2018.  He joined Port Houston in 2010, successfully leading the port’s global sales efforts.  Moseley started his career in international supply chain and logistics in 1987 and has held expanding roles in the U.S. and overseas with ocean carriers and beneficial cargo owners in addition to experience in the international freight forwarding and customs house brokerage sectors.

Moseley earned a bachelor’s degree in international business administration from California State University at Los Angeles and an MBA from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Isenberg School of Management.

In his current role, he is responsible for driving and executing Port Houston’s commercial strategy.  He oversees Port Houston’s real estate, trade development, economic development, marketing & branding, research & forecasting and media relations departments as well as the administration of Harris County’s Foreign Trade Zone.

Moseley actively serves in leadership positions of the Greater Houston Partnership and the Brazil Texas Chamber of Commerce.  Past contributions have included board positions with the American Institute for International Steel, Netherlands American Business Association, International Trade Club of Southern California, International Transportation Management Association of Houston and as a member of the Advisory Board of the Center for Logistics and Transportation Policy Program at the University of Houston and active participation in other related organizations.

VP, Procurement & Transportation, Tailored Brands

Rob Holland is Vice President of Procurement & Transportation with Tailored Brands, Inc, where he supports various retail brands including Men’s Wearhouse, Jos. A. Bank, K&G Fashion Superstores, and Moore’s Clothing for Men (Canada).  He and his teams manage Sourcing/Procurement for all Indirect Spend and oversee a network of internal private fleet and 3rd party carriers to help execute the business strategies.  He is an extended member of the D,E,& I Committee and a past member of the Tailored Brands Sustainability Committee. 

Rob has over 37 years’ experience in the Logistics Industry.  Prior to joining Tailored Brands in 2006 he held management positions at Williams-Sonoma, Corning Incorporated, and Brown Shoe Company, among other companies. 

Rob is a native of St. Louis, but currently resides in Bellville, TX.  He holds a degree in English from the University of Missouri-St. Louis.   

Rob has been married to his wife Stacy since 1995.  They have two grown children and too many animals to count.

Bart De Muynck is a logistics industry expert and thought leader with 30 years of supply chain experience. He spent the last 8 years at Gartner, as a VP of Research focusing on logistics strategy, delivery processes and innovative technologies that impact transportation. Prior to Gartner, he has 20+ years of supply chain, logistics, and technology experience across North America and Europe, working for shippers as well as 3PL/asset based companies including PepsiCo, Elemica, Penske Logistics, GE Capital, EY and more.
